Board Structure
The Safeguarding Board has statutory status under the Care Act. That means in simple terms, each Local Authority area must have one.
The statutory members of our Board are Hull City Council, Humberside Police and Hull NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.
The Board also has the Hull City Councillor responsible for safeguarding adults, Gwen Lunn, and the chair person of the Strategic Delivery Group.
The Board has an independent Chair, Rick Proctor.
Underneath the Board is the Strategic Delivery Group. This is the group that works on the strategic plan.
